How are women changing the rules of impact entrepreneurship?

Research after research has shown that women can successfully run businesses, that they are more consistent in paying back loans, that they are just as creative, innovative and intelligent as men. Yet, even after decades of speaking about the importance of gender equality, women today still often experience gender bias in their professional lives.

In the world of fashion, we see the value that women bring to the table, especially when it comes to engraining social and environmental sustainability. Around the world, we see entrepreneurs taking the leap to develop innovative products and services. Fair social practices are embedded as a matter of course and collaboration comes naturally.

For our Round Table of Female Founders Inspiring Change, we will bring together 5-6 female leaders that have managed to successfully build businesses embracing social  or environmental  principles. In an atmosphere of openness and non-competitiveness, we will discuss the following questions:

   >>> What specific challenges have you f aced as  a female entrepreneur, and what have been your strategies to surmount them?
   >>> In how far might women be differently equipped to build businesses with  an impact? And how are women thereby changing the rules of impact entrepreneurship in the fashion industry?
   >>> How can we elevate the role of women throughout the fashion value chain so that more women can enjoy equal chances to their male counterparts?
