Switzerland’s leading fashion & textile brands are moving towards circular business models
As we move further towards a circular economy, brands and retailers are working hard to develop solutions along the value chain that are in-line with brand heritage while being sustainable both for the environment and business.
Hear their stories and find out how you can adopt the principles of the circular economy for your business.
18.00 – 18.15 Welcome and Introduction
18.15 – 19.00 Keynotes from industry professionals (names of speakers to be announced on the 24th of September) who will talk about their reasons to engage, the approaches they chose, the journeys they traveled, the obstacles they faced, and the rewards they reaped by innovating their business based on principles of the Circular Economy.
19.45 – 21.00 Facilitated Networking & Circular Apéro We close the evening with a curated networking apero, providing each participant with the opportunity to make connections and start conversations that could bring new knowledge, lead to new ideas or maybe even future collaboration opportunities.
Network with the very best in the business; the event is aimed at professionals involved in sourcing, production, buying, distribution, sales or services around fashion and textiles. To maximise the opportunities for knowledge sharing, we welcome the diversity in the audience.
The main programme will be held at KulturPark in Zurich (Schiffbaustrasse 9B), which is a 6-minute walk from Hardbrücke station.
For the facilitated networking and apéro, we will head to FOIFI Zero Waste Ladencafé/ Faircustomer (same complex: Schiffbaustrasse 9b) where the apéro will follow the circular theme. Foifi is the first zero-waste shop and café in Zurich, offering unpackaged goods and local, organic sourced products. You will be able to taste recipes crafted with locally grown ingredients, sip organic wines and browse the offering of non-food sustainable products brought together in the Faircustomer showroom.
This event is free of charge for participants of the workshop “Dive into the world of Circular Fashion and Textiles’ that takes place before this event. MaxTex, ecos and Good Brand Guru are facilitating a five hour workshop providing a deeper dive into what is meant by a Circular Fashion system and how to use the principles of Circular Economic thinking for your business.
