Circular Fashion & Craftsmanship

Join us for a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of companies that are at the forefront of a Circular fashion industry. During this two-day tour in the famed Prato region, you will visit established and pioneering companies that are marrying Italian craftsmanship with Circular design principles.

During these two days, you will hear from company leaders, designers, and production managers willing to share their story, vision, and insights into their ways of working. You will find out about the worlds of traceability, recycled wool, leather, and other fabrics, as well as the different approaches to collaboration and logistics.

The tour has been put together for professionals in the fashion industry. It promises to be interesting to designers, buyers, production managers, sustainability managers but all fashion professionals with an interest in sustainable fashion are invited to join too. In the evenings, through facilitated workshops, you will have the possibility to meet and exchange with counterparts from the fashion industry.

Rather than doing a theoretical course, these two days will give you invaluable insights into the limitations and opportunities of integrating circular processes into your fashion products and production chains.

After four years of hosting more than 50 knowledge sharing and networking events, connecting sustainability and fashion professionals with each other, we have decided to stop the activities we were doing under Good Brand Guru from 2023 onwards.

With equal passion and perseverance, we are continuing to strive for a better textile and clothing industry.

We are doing this through different projects, including helping companies to become BCorp and working with Fibershed at both a Dutch and European level. The Fibershed movement seeks to develop regional fiber systems that build soil and protect the health of our biosphere. Working with a soil-to-soil vision, we are rebuilding local, collaborative supply networks that are inherently fair, circular and regenerative.
